WOOL BROKING

Clip preparation, appraisal, and sale.

Wool broking through established channels for Australian woolgrowers — from clip preparation through to settlement. In preparation.

IN PREPARATION

This service is in preparation and is not yet available. We expect to launch wool broking services in 2026. In the meantime, contact us and we will refer you to a trusted broking partner.

Wool broking requires technical knowledge of the clip — the preparation, the classing, and the timing of the sale. The grower who understands their clip’s position in the market, and has a broker who can read the room at auction, gets a better result than one who simply presents bales.

Clunes will offer wool broking through established channels, with clip preparation and appraisal guidance available ahead of each season. The service is intended for woolgrowers who want an independent broker — without the conflicts that come with a large integrated agency.

WHAT WILL BE OFFERED

  • Pre-shearing clip preparation and planning
  • Wool classing and preparation
  • Pre-sale appraisal and core testing
  • Auction representation at major selling centres
  • Private treaty sale where appropriate
  • Market and price reporting throughout the season

Register your interest.

We will be in touch as wool broking services become available.
