These terms govern the relationship between Clunes Rural Pty Ltd (ABN {TBC}) (Clunes) and any person who engages Clunes to arrange finance (Client).
Our services
Clunes provides credit assistance services as defined under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth). Specifically, Clunes arranges rural lending and rural asset finance by:
- Assessing your credit requirements
- Identifying suitable lenders and products from our panel
- Preparing and lodging credit applications on your behalf
- Managing the application through to settlement
Clunes acts as a credit representative, not a lender. We do not provide financial advice, tax advice, or accounting advice.
Remuneration
Clunes is remunerated by lenders on settlement. This remuneration is disclosed in our Credit Guide and in the Credit Proposal Disclosure Document provided before you proceed with an application.
Clunes does not charge application fees. We will advise you in writing if any third-party costs (such as valuation fees or legal fees) will be payable.
Your obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information to assist us in assessing your requirements
- Notify us promptly if your circumstances change during an application
- Review all documents provided to you before signing
- Seek independent legal and financial advice where appropriate
No guarantee of approval
Clunes does not guarantee that any loan application will be approved. Approval is at the lender's discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clunes's liability for any loss arising from the provision of credit assistance services is limited to the remuneration received by Clunes in relation to the relevant transaction.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
