Livestock agency work requires local market knowledge, relationships at the yards, and an understanding of the operator’s enterprise. The agent who knows the operation can buy the right stock and sell at the right time — not simply put numbers through the yards.
The Clunes livestock agency service is designed to work alongside the firm’s lending capability. An operator with a stock-mortgage facility placed by Clunes will have the same firm managing the buying and selling — removing a layer of coordination between the finance and the agency.
